CAT Engine Block Turning Rig

3D Cad design & 2D Assembly drawing of a CAT Engine block turning Rig. The Rig rotates the engine block weighing approx 9000 kg for maintenance. Equipment consists of Commercial off the shelf (COTS) Hydraulic outrigger lifting equipment and a COTS 7″ slewing drive. Interfacing tooling was designed to connect the ends of the engine block to the slewing drives.
